I have owned this steam mop for over two months and so far, so good. Love it! From the color to the results, this slim, easy-to-store steam mop is amazing. As other customers have said, it works great on tile floors. We have a cat and you should see the amount of black cat hair, litter bits and other yuckiness left on the cleaning pads. Pads come also come out really clean just by hand-washing. Truly love it! Heats up fast and much cheaper, lighter and easier to use than my old Shark Pocket mop. For under $110 it's a steal! Raved about it so much to my family, we got mom one for Mother's Day!

Review by J. Elliott : Good but I miss the "clean" smell

I have mostly wood floors with tile in the bathrooms and use this and I think it does a good job. I do miss the clean smell of using a mop and lysol etc. :) The green is more 70's avocado than it looks on my monitor. For the people that say it is too wet I believe you are using it wrong. When it is heating up, you don't put the pad on it. Also, don't let it sit with the pad on it. If you need to let it sit for whatever reason, turn the steam off. I have a 3000 sq ft house and wood is everywhere but the bathrooms where I have tile. I only have to refill once. I don't go fast or slow so maybe if I went slower I might have to refill more. I agree with others who have said that the cord could be longer, or I might like one that was cordless. But then again, my swiffer charge does not last thought my whole house so I might rethink that statement. Overall I like this steam mop. My wood floors are actual wood and not laminate. (FYI)

Purchased this after my Shark Steam Mop stopped functioning after a year. The Haan is a much better unit than the Shark. It's lighter, better looking, better built, and you don't have to pump for the steam to come out. My frail old mother always complained about how much of a workout it was to use the Shark. The Haan gets up to 212 degrees, so it is capable of actually sanitizing flooring whereas the Shark only got around 100 degrees and didn't sanitize. Our real wood floors have never looked better after a couple of passes with the Haan. The floors dry pretty quickly and you can really tell a difference after using the mop. The carpet attachment works well and freshens the carpet even though it leaves it a bit damp for a while. It won't get rid of stains. Hopefully the unit will last longer than a year!

Fantastic product. Perfect for my pergo floors. Cleaned up what my swiffer wet just couldn't do. Wish I had bought one of these ages ago. We have 2 dogs & I never felt like the floors were clean enough. Bought this Haan steam cleaner & an extra package of Haan reusable pads for the machine. Swept the floors & ran the steam cleaner. Ended up using 3 pads for 4 rooms. I couldn't believe how much dirt came up. I did the wet paper towel test after cleaning the floors & it was clean. When I wiped a wet paper towel on the floors after swiffering it always had dirt residue. I'm so happy. This purchase totally worth the price!

I like Haan and own two of their steam mops. While the head on this is nice and low to the ground and it does do a good job, I would say I prefer the FS 30 model which does bang into stuff if you have edges around the house. The FS 30 model is a luxery to use and that one slips around the floor with no effort. I don't feel like I'm mopping but from the actual cloth - which gets filthy - you can tell the floor is getting clean. I would recommend going up to the FS30 model instead of this one. This one steams great but it doesn't slide as well as the other model. I suspect it's because the weight of the water is in the handle area and not on the floor. I haven't tried the FS50 but that model appears to be like my FS30 but with a flatter head. Basically, this steam mop is better than the Shark out there BUT Haan does make one model that's a tiny bit more expensive that is even better - the FS30.

I was really quite hesitant to order this item, because I just don't want to bring another useless piece of clutter into the house! However, my hardwood floors extend into the kitchen (not what I would have done!), and they are a pain in the back side to maintain. Tiny drips that are not cleaned up immediately can harden into the floor so that their removal is almost impossible! Scrubbing them with a "no scratch" scrubber has left visible scrub marks! So, a few weeks ago, I started looking into the Shark floor steamer. I never heard of the Haan, but came across it on Amazon searching for floor steamers. I decided that I really did not need to buy a large model--I wanted something that I could easily store in a handy location, and I figured I would be using it most frequently on the kitchen floor. It arrived tonight, and I had it assembled in a snap. Literally! No tools needed! I quickly dust-mopped the kitchen floor, and was steam-cleaning the floor within a few minutes after carrying the box inside the house! I was most impressed about how some of the persistent small drip spots were removed without leaving scratches! The floor dried very quickly. I was MORE than satisfied with the ease of use and the appearance of the floor. I was very happy with the results, and best of all, I was happy I did not have an immediate case of buyer's remorse! What was most amazing, though, is how the floor felt to my bare feet! It felt PERFECTLY clean! I don't know if it's because it cleans so well, or because there is no residue from floor products, but there is definitely a noticeable difference. Now, I have to dust mop the rest of my floors so I can steam them, too!

After much homework on which unit to buy, we settled on this unit. It was so easy to set up and is so easy to use!!!!! I love the fact that when you need to refill with water that the bottle slips out of the unit, then fill and snaps back in with ease. Only filled three times and did my entire large kitchen and two hallways. My wood floors never looked so good!!!! Its small enough to slide right under the door stops and other things. Plenty of steam. I would buy it again and I love the red color it came in..

I recently bought the Haan SI-35G Floor Sanitizer and think it was the best purchase ever. It is easy to use, cleans fast and better than any other method I have used to clean floors before. I took my Swifter to the trash, and no more residue. The wood floors sparkle and it is quiet, with no mess afterward. I also use the steamer to clean the bed, with the sheets off and scatter rugs where the pets often sleep. I like that no more chemicals are needed. It is safer and does a much better job than any mop..

This is a great alternative to a regular mop.much easier.i used this mop on my marble kitchen floor and ceramic bathroom floor. at first i was not too impressed because it left a film on my marble floor but cleaned good on the ceramic bathroom floor even getting up old stains.The next day i wanted to try it out again to see if it would get the film off the marble floor and it did. i guess the film was from all the previous chemicals i used to mop the floor with for years.now my marble floors are so shiny and smooth. i'm very glad i bought the mop and love the green color(looks like the color of baby food peas).The downsides of the mop is that it does Not do corners well. i cleaned the corners after i mopped. also,the cord could be longer. my kitchen area is not that big and i have to plug it in two different outlets to get the job done..

I originally bought the Shark Professional Steam Pocket but was not impressed AT ALL. I used a baby wipe on the dirty floor which came up grey, used the Shark steam mop and then used a baby wipe again, still grey. Then went over with a swifter mop and the pad came up very dirty. I bought the Haan and did the same baby wipe test, the baby wipe came up pretty clean after using the Haan steam mop. Unlike the Shark, I didn't feel like I just came out of a sauna after using the Haan. I have mexican tiles that absorb quite a bit of dirt and are very uneven. Dirty mop water collects in all the divots and grout and make the tiles even dirtier. I love the idea of not using a mop and pail and not having to buy cleaners. The cord is really short, I couldn't even reach down the hallway without unplugging. The Shark's cord was very very long. I think it works well but I don't think this will pass the white sock test. Nothing will clean the floor as well as scrubbing on your hands and knees. Did I mention how short the cord is?.

I spent quite a few hours researching steam mops, and I'm very happy with my selection. The mop cleans wonderfully, is easy to handle, and very easy to store. I highly recommend it!
