This mop is great for medium- to light-duty cleaning. If you've spilled a gallon of milk, don't pull this one out (use an old towel). If you've spilled a cup of milk, it's perfect. I keep a small tub of mop water in a side room for frequent kitchen floor touch-ups, especially in front of the 'fridge, the trashcan, and the stove. Seems like I have to mop those three areas every other day or so, and in rainy or snowy weather, often by the back door. It allows me to clean under the couch (just a couple inches clearance), and under the piano stool and front edge of the piano. Because of the way it twists, you can use it the long and narrow way for small spaces, and the short and wide way to cover lots of territory. As another person said, the microfiber mop-head does not squeeze completely dry. I keep the sides folded in for a little while, and allow the water to drip for 30 seconds or so, and find that the amount of water in the mop-head is just about what I want to do an effective cleaning. I love this mop, and am planning to buy one or two more mop-heads. Great product, Bissel!

I love this mop and the microfiber pads that go with it. I don't have the best upper-body strength, but I can easily wring out this mop. It is lightweight and easy to manage. I just wash the soiled pads in the washing machine and let them air-dry. I bought a few pads so that I always have an extra while the washed pads are drying. I've washed the pads over and over and they are holding up well.

Finally purchased a mop that will work for me.The mop head is small enough to fit into tough spots and swivels.The mop pad can be removed and laundered.I've already ordered extra mop pads.Guess I'm odd because I don't care for the push button dispensing machines or want a steam machine.We've been using natural cleaning products for many years.My preference is to use a bit of the heavy duty cleaner in a bucket of water and add a few drops of essential oil for mopping.The tiled floors are easily cleaned and the house smells wonderful.Since I don't have time to wash them on hands and knees often, I'd been using sponge mops for the past several years.Sponge mops work, but only so well and there are plenty of issues with them.I'm looking forward to tossing the sponge mop now.The mop handle extends and has a hanging loop on the end.When not extended, it's nice and compact, making it easy to stash out of sight.Thank you Amazon and Bissell for a better mop!

I just purchased this mop today, but in my opinion everyone needs this mop! I tried it out on my kitchen and entry way floors and I love everything about this mop. Other reviewers have said that it is for light cleaning, and I'd agree mainly because there is no scrubber. My floors weren't very dirty and I had no use for a scrubber at the time so it wasn't a problem. Pros: Easy to use, light weight The butterfly closure did a good job wringing excess water and is easy to use The cleaning pad doesn't hold a ton of extra water like a regular sponge mop Love that it is washable, but have not tested this yet Like the adjustable handle Love the size & the swivel I felt it was great for my large kitchen floor, and will also be great in a small bathroom The cleaning pad is just slightly larger than the mop, which I felt helped in corners I removed the cleaning pad and hung it up to dry, which I think is a good feature - the more quickly it dries the betterOverall I think this is going to be a great mop, quick and easy to use for everyday cleaning. With kids running around it's important to me that I'm not spending all day cleaning up. So far I don't see any "cons" but I'll update if I find anything.UPDATE: 1 year later, still going strong! Still love this great mop! I only have had 1 of the mop pads this whole year and it's holding up well. I am not an extremely frequent mopper, but wash the pad with my other rags about every other use and it's doing well, it still sticks to the velcro on the mop just as well as the first time I used it. The mop itself is very sturdy and is still in perfect condition.

I like how thin the head is (it fits under many things including door jams). I love how flexible the head is and the directions it can go. The handle options are interesting, but I don't really use them. I don't like its inability to scrub. Overall I like the mop.

I was a little reluctant at first to purchase this mop. I had an Omop by Method that finally broke after 4 years of heavy use. I was hand scrubbing my floors because I just couldn't find that mop I would want to use as much as needed in my house. ( We have three cats, two Guinea Pigs, two men just over 24 , and a dog. That's a lot of animals to clean up after) So I researched for almost 5 months and was about to purchase the Scotch Brite mop when I found this. More research and I finally jumped in. Boy am I glad I did. This mop is incredible! My fiancé even loves it. He's 6 foot tall and it lengthens for him to be comfortable, and shortens beautifully for my 5' 7" height. It comes already assembled which is awesome. You can use the microfiber OR swiffer type pads for those puppy had an accident moments. I can't say enough good things about this mop. OH and we found this out by accident tinkering with the length. It has an elbow so it can bend under tables with out moving them. You have to extend it all the way out to find it. Again awesome. You will not be dissapointed. I know the head is a little flop (it folds to wring the microfiber) but don't worry. Once you set it flat on the floor it straightens out. It kinda freaked me out at first till I saw how it worked. Happy mopping!

I've had this mop for a couple weeks and liked it very much -- for a while. The first thing I noticed was that there was no instruction sheet with it, and with all the movable parts, it needs one badly, unless you're an engineer. I have it pretty well figured out now, but have gone about it gingerly, for fear of breaking something. The mop cover peels off - I figured out that much. It reminds me of Velcro; works well. I have yet to figure out, however, if there's a good way to squeeze excess water out of it. The mop handle does push down and pushes the two halves of the mop head together to squeeze out a certain amount, but not enough. I suspect I should be lightly spraying the mop head instead of holding it under running water and trying to squeeze out the excess. It doesn't work. You end up with too much water in it, and it leaves too much on the floor as you mop. There is no good way to get the excess water out unless you run it through a wringer, and who's going to do that? (Who even HAS a wringer?) Next time, I am going to lightly dampen the mop; that may be the secret. I contacted Bissell twice through their website with my questions and concerns. A nice man named Hal responded both times. The first time he referred me to a web page I had already seen, which was mostly pictures, but no instructions or guidelines. The second time he agreed that it needed an instruction sheet and was referring the idea to the appropriate department. We shall see. Meantime, I will keep trying to uncover its secrets. The mop is sturdy; well built, well designed. Stores neatly and compactly. Without guidelines, I have to go it alone and hope I get the hang of it.
